3 great benefits of using Oil Paint

Oil Painting is the first medium I used when I was learning,
so it was like driving a car. You are most comfortable with what you learned on first! Oil painting came very naturally to me. One word of caution though, you do need fresh air and more space to work in.

What are my favorite reasons for using Oil Paint?
  • Oil Paint dries extremely slow
  • Oil paint moves and blends beautifully
  • Oil Paint can be applied very thick like in tree bark, or very thin like a watercolor
Up above are some of my art class students. Just look at those smiles when they have completed a painting!
So rewarding! I am a Certified Art Instructor, in Landscape, Floral and Wildlife.
